The Jacob Leisler Institute welcomes Marie Rasner as our new administrative associate. Ms. Rasner graduated with a J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. She brings to the Institute diverse experiences in law, in staffing and serving on nonprofit boards and, for many years in business, as founder, president and partner of Elijah Slocum, Fine Cabinetry & Collections. Since moving to Hudson, she has served on the board of such local nonprofits as the Hudson Area Library. …

The Jacob Leisler Institute is delighted to introduce summer intern Riley Neubauer. Ms. Neubauer is a student in the National Institute of American History and Democracy (NIAHD) program at William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia. Fortunately for us, she is able to work on site in Hudson for credit during the summer months. She is currently pulling together documents on Leisler's "Turkish" captivity in 1677-1678. …
