Mary Collins Institute Library Consultant

The Jacob Leisler Institute is pleased to announce that Mary Collins, genealogist at East Sixth St. Genealogy and a special collections librarian, has agreed to serve as library/archive consultant for the Jacob Leisler Institute. Mary has an MSLIS degree, with a concentration in rare books and special collections, as well as a Certificate in archives and records management from the Palmer School at Long Island University, and holds the accreditation of Certified Genealogist from the Board for Certification of Genealogists. She has worked most recently as Librarian to The Holland Society of New York. Her advice will be particularly helpful in organizing the Institute’s collection for research and in ensuring its permanent maintenance.
